Invincible Dog Squeaky Toys

Finally! Dog squeaky toys that squeak even after the squeakers are punctured (which they will be in my house in about 5 minutes with Pip’s not-so-tender attentions).

Reality check: no fabric toy is truly “invincible” to a Gnawer, Picker or Ripper. If your dog destroys other fabric toys, your dog will destroy this one, too. All these toys have quite a few  1 star ratings but most of those are from people hoping their Rippers, Pickers and Gnawers would not rip, pick or gnaw this one. Let me save you the suspense and the cents: They will.

Have a Rompers, Chompers or Shakers? They will have a blast. (Want to learn your dog’s chew style? Read here.)

Give these toys under supervision. I give most plush toys for 15 minutes or so at a time or until the dog settles down to destruction, then I put them away them – that way both the dog’s interest and the toy lasts longer.

These toys have no stuffing so that’s another plus if your dog is a destuffer.

TRAINER TIP: Use such toys when you want to actively engage with a dog. Have your dog sit, then toss the toy. “Down” then hand them the toy. Link listening to toy delivery and you’ll both have a blast while your dog is learning to listen even when excited. That is a lesson every dog both needs to learn well and practice often.
